For the third summer in a row we were able to send kids to DayJams Rock Music Day Camps! Certificates were presented as part of our Musical Gifts and Scholarship Program. Pictured are 2011 recipients, Mario Bartolo and Pathum Madigapola from Inside Out Community Arts, with IOCA Director of Programs, Lui Sanchez.

L.A. Camp Director, Joseph John, visited the taping of our June 18th Young Talent Night webcast to help LAWIM president, Leanne Summers, "gift" the camps. Mario Bartolo (left) is an 8th grader from Florence Nightengale Middle School and plays electric guitar. Pathum Madigapola (right) is an 8th grader from Oliver Wendell Holmes Middle School and plays bass guitar. They each received a one-week full scholarship at the Los Angeles campus thanks to DayJams, America's Original Rock Music Day Camp for kids.
