Gale Stoddard... continued

With her love of American music she moved to The United States and began a successful career as a piano bar artist. Working for Howard Hughes at The Landmark in Las Vegas, Jack Wrather of the Disneyland Hotel and many other piano bars throughout the United States and Europe, Gale continued to build her repertoire by memorizing over 5000 songs and obtained a degree in piano performance from Cal State Fullerton.

Gale has been featured in numerous magazines and newspapers, often performing for charities like the arthritis foundation. She has received numerous awards for her musical contributions including an award from the City of Los Angeles, presented by Councilman Bernard Parks. County Board of Supervisors, Michael Antonovich gave Gale not one, but two awards for her musical work for the All War Veterans and stated, “This award is for her devotion to every cause that catches her attention.” Gale is a three-time recipient of the ASCAP Plus Award. Her song, Christmas in Brazil, penned with famed songwriter Ray Evans, was featured on ABC’s World News Tonight with Brian Rooney.

Ray often said “Gale’s piano style is reminiscent of my friend Victor Young, with a touch of David Rose and Hank Mancini.”

Gale has recorded numerous CD’s and receives regular airplay on DWBR Radio Manila and KPSC Radio. She donates a portion of her CD sales to The Good Shephard Convent located in her home country to help ease the suffering of sexually abused girls. She continues to collaborate with songwriters, perform, teach piano, vocal and performance techniques to children and volunteers countless hours to many organizations involving music. In an interview with The Orange County Register, Gale said “My one goal in life is to make people happy with my music and make a BIG difference in this world!”
