Rachael most recently served as
vice president of Digital Media for Championship Gaming Series (CGS) a News
Corp JV, overseeing digital media division, responsible for execution while driving online product development, P&L, traffic
growth of 18+ sites, content, design and strategy. McLean led a team of design
and engineering professionals developing a 2.0 social community and video
gaming tournament platform.
McLean joined CGS from GoTV, where
she was vice president, Music Group overseeing the 11+ team, 4 music video
channels and leading distribution from mobile to multiple broadband partners
globally.Prior to GoTV McLean
worked with Infospace Mobile, overseeing development for original concepts and
brands including the joint venture with “Tony Hawk”, “American Idol” content
and AT&T’s Warped Tour.
Previously, McLean served for
eight years at MTV Networks, most recently as vice president for MTV Networks
International Digital Creative and Production in New York, responsible for the
growth of MTV, VH1 and Nickelodeon cross platform global products and
initiatives for the network of 100+ websites and mobile channels. Leading
global music franchises “The Leak”, “MTV 5 Star”, original global mobile
series, and the award-winning MTV Europe Music Awards interactive web show.
Earlier in her career McLean worked as a producer and developer at Sony BMG Columbia
Records Online and as a founding member at SonicNet, the online service later
acquired by MTV.
Rachael was born in New Zealand
has lived in Europe, Japan and attended NYU and Harvard Business School.She currently resides in Los Angeles.
