PRO Recording Techniques for Singer/Songwriters
with Engineer/Producer, Lenise Bent
October 30, 2010
Optimize your home recording studio to make your recordings sound like the finished product publishing companies, film & tv are now requiring.
It used to be only about the song... but not anymore. As technology has become more sophisticated and affordable, the demand for professional sounding "final product" publishing demos and song placements has also risen.
- You have the equipment but do you really know how to use it correctly?
- Where do you put that mic on an acoustic guitar?
- Which mic should you use?
- How do you mic your drums so you can replace sampled drums with a real drummer?
Get the answers to these and any other questions you may have about recording the best way possible using your home studio. Lenise will cover the same recording and mixing techniques she uses with her current singer/songwriter clients including critical listening, compression, EQ and reverb to create dynamic, finished sounding demos.
