Val Garay

For the last 30 years, Val Garay has produced and engineered some of the best sounding and best selling albums in the recording industry. In 1982 he earned a Grammy Award for Record of The Year for Kim Carnes' number one hit "Bette Davis Eyes". Val is responsible for a total of 31 Grammy nominations, and 3 out of 5 years running, the Record of the Year was produced at his Record One Studio. His engineering and production efforts have earned him 94 Gold and Platinum Records and over 150,000,000 records sold. Val has worked with a lengthy roster of top artists including Neil Diamond, Marvin Gaye, Jackson 5, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, James Taylor and Linda Rondstadt.
