This guitar along with three other acoustic-electrics gifted at our September 17th YTN show help make the program possible for Children of the Night, a facility that provides shelter and education for at-risk kids. UPDATE... Christmas comes to Children of the Night, thanks once again to YTN sponsor, Guitar It Up For Girls! On December 22nd, LAWIM President, Leanne Summers, visited the facility and presented the founder and director, Dr. Lois Lee, with a left-handed Jay Turser acoustic guitar to round out the guitar workshop program provided by Special Angel.

The addition of the guitar workshops gives us the ability to empower the kids to experience writing and performing their own songs, which in turn can open their hearts and minds to positive change and growth through music.
