Elissa Wadds has been CFO of Los Angeles Women in Music since 2005. With a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University in Canada, and more than eighteen years of experience in accounting, she owns and runs her own business, Aeratus Financial Services, in Sandpoint, Idaho.
Lori Shube - Strategy Planning Consultant
Lori Shube has been a marketing and business strategy consultant to Fortune 1000 companies in the high-technology, biotechnology, magazine publishing/online-media sectors; and for non-profit entities that provide infrastructure programs in developing countries. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from U.C. Berkeley, and a Master’s Degree from U.S.C. in East Asian Languages & Cultures. For the last eight years, she has been re-designing corporate Websites into “hubs” or “Web Ecosystems” that include content management, marketing, team- and community-building for companies such as Toshiba Direct and Life Technologies. She’s done a number of online marketing initiatives within the music industry, and is currently serving as VP Strategy & Communications for the start-up Drum Talk TV.
David B. Graubert, Esq. - Legal Counsel
A graduate of Stanford University Law School ('96), David Graubert, who began his legal career in litigation, has, since 1999, practiced entertainment (music, film, theatre, new media) and corporate law at large law firms in New York, Los Angeles and Palo Alto. His clients are artists, entrepreneurs and large and small companies, including Warner Bros., Universal and HBO. For several years he has devoted much of his time into musician artist management, and first became involved with LAWIM through a singer-songwriter client. David's involvement in the music business goes back to high school, when as a Sophomore he started and ran a night club in his aptly named hometown of Rockville Centre, for which he combed Long Island for talent. Creative pursuits include guitar (having studied with Paul Simon's brother, Eddie), writing and directing.
Morgan Coffman - Executive Assistant to the President / Director, Member Services
Morgan Coffman is a composer, songwriter and arranger, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Production from Full Sail University. In addition to two Course Director awards for Songwriting and Development and Arrangement, she was awarded the university's most prestigious award, the Advanced Achievement award. She is a seasoned professional with more than 30 years of award winning experience in sales, marketing, management and corporate sales training, and highly recognized for building and preserving strong, loyal relationships. She is also a Specialist with Apple with aspirations to work with Apple's DAW software development.
