CHARLYN BERNAL, Composer/Songwriter/Synth Programmer and former Associate Director of Film and Television Music for the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP). Her credits include: Jeepers Creepers, Providence, The Drew Carey Show, Early Edition, 413 Hope Street, The Ellen Show, Maggie Winters, The Norm Show, The West Wing, Cupid, Roswell, Once and Again, Two of a Kind, Felicity, It's Like You Know, Sportsnight, Boomtown, Clubhouse, Little People, Big World and Odyssey 5. Charlyn played clarinet in the Chicago Youth Symphony, DuPage Youth Symphony, Wheaton Municipal Band, performed solos with the Willowbrook Orchestra and ISYM Orchestra, and is a winner of the Pete Carpenter Fellowship, BMI's Scoring for Motion Pictures Scholarship while at USC and a graduate of USC's Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television Program.
Music industry veteran, IRIS GORDY, is a former Vice President of Motown Records. She is credited with helping launch the careers of Rick James, Teena Marie, DeBarge and gospel powerhouse, Tata Vega. Ms. Gordy has numerous production credits to her name, including albums by Smokey Robinson, Diana Ross, The Four Tops and The Temptations. Ms. Gordy began her career listening to music in Motown's renowned Quality Control Department, in Detroit. In Los Angeles, she headed the department's West Coast Division, before becoming V.P. of Motown's Creative (A&R) Division. Ms. Gordy is an entertainment consultant, writer, speaker and the founder of Friends of Fuller B. Gordy, which honors the legacy of her father, Motown executive, humanitarian and professional bowler, Fuller Gordy. Ms. Gordy serves on the Executive Boards of The Rhythm & Blues Foundation and Make Music Los Angeles (MMLA), an L. A. County-wide musical experience, launched in 2012.

His clients are artists, entrepreneurs and large and small companies, including Warner Bros., Universal and HBO. For several years he has devoted much of his time into musician artist management, and first became involved with LAWIM through a singer-songwriter client. David's involvement in the music business goes back to high school, when as a Sophomore he started and ran a night club in his aptly named hometown of Rockville Centre, for which he combed Long Island for talent. Creative pursuits include guitar (having studied with Paul Simon's brother, Eddie), writing and directing.

Music biz vet, JUDI PULVER, is the Director of Music Advertising at VARIETY. Responsible for all music-related print and online sales, she is tasked with developing opportunities and revenue streams in the music sector for the global showbiz news brand. Prior, Pulver spent 27 years at the Hollywood Reporter, where she created the newspaper’s film and TV music editorial franchise and spearheaded its annual two-day conference sponsored by ASCAP, BMI and SESAC. Earlier in her career, Judi was a singer, songwriter and keyboard player and was signed to MGM Records. She serves on the executive committee of the music industry chapter of the City of Hope medical research organization, and the Film Musicians Secondary Market Fund Board, which provides support to film musicians for the payment, processing and distribution of residuals generated by their talent and services.
LORI SHUBE has been a marketing and business strategy consultant to Fortune 1000 companies in the high-technology, biotechnology, magazine publishing/online-media sectors; and for non-profit entities that provide infrastructure programs in developing countries. For eight years, she has re-designed corporate websites into “hubs” that include eCommerce, content management, marketing, team- and community-building for companies such as Toshiba Direct and Life Technologies. She’s done a number of online marketing initiatives within the music industry, and currently serves as Executive Producer & Chief Digital Officer for Drum Talk TV - a lifestyle media company spanning Publishing, Broadcasting, eCommerce, Events, and a Digital Marketing Agency, with an emphasis on drumming. ILENE WEINGARD is an award-winning art director in the entertainment industry, and the Principal and Creative Director for I Design Studio. Specializing in logo design, branding, key art, packaging, book design and websites, I Design’s clients include record labels Universal Music Group, BMG, Savoy Jazz and Virgin Records; film studios Walt Disney, Twentieth Century Fox and Warner Bros.; and fashion and corporate branding campaigns for new companies. Ilene created a catalog showcasing the work of 50 diverse, female artists, entitled, “Multiple Vantage Points: Southern California Women Artists, 1980-2006." Ilene has served as President of the Graphic Arts Guild, Los Angeles Chapter, and was on the Special Committee for the Packaging category of the Grammy Awards.
